Farmington License Office contract awarded

JEFFERSON CITY - The Office of Administration, in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Revenue, has awarded the management contract for the Farmington License Office to MCLB Management Company LLC in Jackson. All license office contracts in Missouri are awarded through a competitive bid process.

The Farmington License Office will remain at its current location at 103 Walker Dr.

In fiscal year 2013, nearly 76,000 transactions were conducted at the Farmington office, generating $252,976 in agent processing fees. MCLB Management Company's contract includes an annual commitment to return 5 percent (approximately $12,648) of future processing fees to the state.

All local license offices are overseen by the Missouri Department of Revenue, but each is operated by an independent agent.
