Hartville License Office to Temporarily Close

JEFFERSON CITY - The Hartville License Office will close after regular business hours on Wednesday, Feb. 13, and remain closed until at least Monday, March 4, 2013.

Regular operating hours for the Hartville License Office are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  The office phone number is (417) 741-6288.       

The office (located at 398 S. Main St., Suite B, in Hartville) is temporarily closing due to an employee illness. 

There are several other area license offices where City of Hartville and Wright County citizens can go to conduct transactions.  The offices, their addresses, phone numbers and operating hours are:

Ava - 304 NW 12th Ave., (417) 683-2700, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Last five business days of the month, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Lebanon - 219 N. Adams Ave., Suite F, (417) 532-5075, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Last Friday of the month, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Last Saturday of the month, 8 a.m. to noon. Closed Presidents Day, Feb. 18.

Marshfield - 101 E. Jefferson St., (417) 468-5100, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; First and last Saturday of the month, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Last five days of the month, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Mountain Grove - 807 N. Main St., Suite 5, (417) 926-3333, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; First and last Saturday of the month, 8 a.m. to noon. Closed Presidents Day, Feb. 18.

Many Wright County citizens also have the option of renewing their license plates online at www.plates.mo.gov.  If a citizen's license plate renewal form mailed to them by the Missouri Department of Revenue contains a Personal Identification Number, then he or she can renew their license plates online.

Citizens with questions about driver license transactions may call the Department at (573) 751-4600, and questions about license plate renewal or other motor vehicle-related transactions can be answered by calling (573) 526-3669.  Many questions can also be answered by going to the Department's website at www.dor.mo.gov.
